What answer engine optimization means for Minirak
Minirak is one place for tasks, a calendar, notes, habits, invoices, and a team. A page that can be quoted in one or two sentences is easier for an answer engine to use.
Answer engine optimization, often shortened to AEO, means writing so the answer is already in the first lines. An AI Overview, an AI Mode reply, or a featured snippet has to lift a passage that stands on its own. If the point is buried under a slogan, the overview has nothing solid to take.
AEO is not a second internet and it is not a promise of placement. Google’s Search Central guide says AI Overviews and AI Mode use the same foundation as Search: the page has to be indexed, eligible for a snippet, and written for a person. Retrieval still starts with the index.
What does an answer engine need from a page?
It needs a question, a short answer, and a source URL. The question can be the heading. The answer is the next paragraph. The URL is the canonical link on this page.
| Piece | What we put on the page | Why a person needs it |
|---|---|---|
| Question | A heading in ordinary language | It matches the way the question was asked |
| Answer | Two or three sentences, no warm-up | The reader can stop or keep going |
| Proof | A link to Google’s own guide or to a paper | The claim can be checked |
| Product | One definition of Minirak | The name is tied to a job, not a slogan |
Why does the first sentence do the psychological work?
A person who asked a question is protecting their time. If the first sentence answers it, they stay. If the first sentence compliments them or teases a list, they leave, and an answer engine has no clean passage to cite. That is the whole “right side” of the page: the side the reader sees, with the answer before the pitch.
The same habit helps a team evaluating software. They want to know what is included before they want a tour. Minirak’s public answer is the sentence in the quote above. The longer list is on the features page.
How is this different from ordinary SEO?
SEO gets the page into the index and lines the title up with the query. AEO assumes that step worked, then makes one passage easy to lift. Generative engine optimization goes one step further and cares whether a generated answer names the source.
Google also describes query fan-out: an AI feature may run several related searches and then show a wider set of links. A single vague page does not help that. A page that owns one question does.
