Delete your Minirak account
You can delete your Minirak account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. Your data is stored on one server in Malaysia; AI requests may be processed by Google outside India and Malaysia (see the Privacy policy). This page applies to the Minirak apps for Android and iPhone and the web app at app.minirak.com, Minirak is operated by Akshit Pareta, sole proprietor trading as VEDHSHALA, under the technology brand Wow Labs.
In the app
- Open Minirak and sign in.
- Open the You menu and choose Account and data.
- Optional: choose Download my data to save a copy (one JSON file).
- Choose Delete my account, give a reason if you want to, type DELETE and choose Delete in 30 days.
We send you a notice by email, and by SMS if your phone number is on the account. If you change your mind, choose Cancel deletion on the same screen within 30 days.
By email
If you cannot use the app, email connect@minirak.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm it is you, and then schedule the deletion in the same way.
What is deleted
30 days after you ask, we erase:
- your profile, sign-in details, devices, push tokens and connected services;
- everything in your Personal and Freelance spaces: tasks, notes, files, photos, voice notes, events, money, mood and AI history;
- every workspace you own, including its invoices, clients and records. If your workspace still has other active members, hand it over or remove them first; the app will tell you.
If other members join a workspace you own during the 30 days, the deletion is held on day 30 until they leave or the workspace is handed over. You are not told automatically; write to connect@minirak.com and we will help.
What is kept
- In a company or team space owned by someone else, the records the company needs, such as attendance punches, claims, invoices and contracts, stay with that company under its own retention settings. Your name may be shown there as “Deleted user”.
- That company’s audit log is kept for up to 3 years.
- Encrypted backups are kept for up to 35 days, so your data may stay in them until they expire. They are used only to recover the service after a failure.
GST law requires businesses to keep invoices and tax records, generally for 72 months. If you own a business space, download its records before you delete your account.
Delete some data without deleting your account
- Delete any item; it stays in Recently deleted for 30 days and is then erased.
- Delete AI history, or use Forget everything, in AI privacy settings.
- Disconnect calendars and other services in their settings.
